Registration for Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) now available.
The RPA have commenced the registration of users for the Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) via the new online facility. Many had been led to believe that a general notification would be made by the RPA to let farmers know when they should activate their accounts, but this facility is live and farmers are urged to get this process underway as soon as possible.
There are going to be some teething problems and the whole system will come under increasing pressure as the May deadline for claims gets nearer. To get things moving call the RPA on 03000 200 301 with your SBI and farm details and you will be sent an email to complete registration with the following 12 hours. Anyone requiring assistance with this process can call Wilson Fearnall for support.
