500kW Wind Turbine
Wilson Fearnall has provided feasibility, site acquisition and full EIA and planning project management for a 500kW wind turbine in Cumbria. The wind turbine will be up to 79m to blade tip height and supply the annual electricity requirements of approximately 430 homes. The project will save over 22,000 tonnes of carbon emissions over its operational life.
The application includes creation of a substantial entrance, as well as access improvements and proposals to create local community benefit. The proposal is currently being considered by the Local Planning Authority.
